Teaching Philosophy:

I believe that children learn best when they are given the opportunity to experience with the world around them. Children’s intrinsic motivation and curiosity will encourage them to find out more. Playing the role of facilitator in the classroom, I will provide children with materials that engage them through exploration and build upon their curiosity through interesting lessons.

Teaching Philosophy:

I believe that every child deserves a good start in their education and that teachers are facilitators of learning as we plan and scaffold the children's learning based on their interests and inquisitive nature to make every lesson fun and enjoyable for the children (Ministry of Education, 2013). I want children to know that they can have fun and learn at the same time.

Teaching Philosophy:

I personally believe that every child is an unique individual who learns best when he/she is actively involved in the construction of knowledge. Children are able to learn efficiently by developing skills and knowledge when they build on their existing knowledge and skills that are already acquired (Ministry of Education, 2013). I also firmly believe that children become confident learners in a secure environment where they feel valued and safe.

Teaching Philosophy:

I am a strong believer that loving children will lead to children loving us. As teachers we must ensure that we give children the best learning environment for them to grow holistically. Letting children question what they learn and allowing them to express themselves makes it a safe space for children to be creative and innovative learners.
